Straight Through Couplers
Straight through couplers provide an ideal design where maximum flow is required; in applications such as high pressure water and steam washers, carpet cleaners, mold collant lines, etc. The smooth open bore offers the lowest pressure drop of any quick coupling design and allows almost complete cleanability in uses where the same line is used for various media. Since there is no valving in either half, fluid flow should be stopped before disconnecting the coupling.
